Purpose

Nuclear physics with RI beams has made significant progress in both Japan and Korea, supported by facilities such as RIBF and RCNP in Japan and the RAON project in Korea. Research activities in nuclear structure, nuclear reactions, and nuclear astrophysics are rapidly growing in both countries.

The purpose of this workshop is to strengthen the collaboration between Japan and Korea in nuclear physics and to promote ongoing and future international joint research. Another important objective is to encourage interactions among students from both countries through short research presentations.

The NuSRAP series of workshops has been held at RCNP, Osaka University (NuSRAP2024), and at Soongsil University (NuSRAP2025). The 2026 meeting will be hosted by the Center for Computational Sciences at the University of Tsukuba.
